Today I went to the second largest mall and finally bought something after all these months of hiatus (excluding that awesome deal during kdays ^.~). My mom and first went to the Chinese embassy to apply for Visa so I finally was able to go out and see the world! LOL I've been deprived for too long. But there are soooooo soooo many people in Chinese embassy applying or getting visas @_@ It opens at 9 and we got there around 9:45 and there were already 93 people in front of us. yikes. not to mention that's only the line for applying visas. There was another huuuggee line for getting visas. It's a pretty crazy place. There were asian people arguing with each other for butting in line and all that...reminds me of China =__= I also met this dude (Caucasian) who's actually going to Qingdao to teach! (I'm assuming English since he only knows hello in Chinese) But thought that was cool :)
So anyhow today I bought some things today...good deals?

In frmheadtotoe's prom tutorial I watched last month, she wore this really pretty purple ring. I love it so much I just had to find out where it's from. It turned out that she bought it on jewelrypayless. Too bad they are all so expensive T_T Hopefully they are still available one day I have the money to buy them...

These past few days were hectic. With grad and commencement and all that jazz I actually learned so much about hair and makeup. LOL. So first the makeup. At first I thought I would either get it done by professional or do a quite neutral makeup. Then I randomly encountered frmheadtotoe's tutorial on prom makeup when I was just blogging through bloglovin'. It looks really pretty and I really want to try it. It was then I decided to do makeup myself. So I bought more eyeshadow (got Too Faced Smoky Palette!), concealer (love it! ^^), and gel liner (finally found the perfect liner!). When I was purchasing my products, Sephora told me they are doing free resident makeup artistry on the day of my grad banquet which means I can get professional makeup done for free! I signed up but then realized if I can get pro makeup why did I even buy my makeup in the first place? LOL Though, in the end I didn't go and ended up doing the makeup myself because of two reasons: 1) It's too hectic to drive to the mall and back and go to city hall. 2) Do I want to risk it? I mean what if the makeup isn't what I wanted? (The first time I got then at Sephora the person didn't really know how to do makeup for Asians.) I don't have the time to redo. Indeed it was hectic that day. I had to finish doing my makeup under 20min. I am pretty proud by the way it turned out...though my washroom was a mess though. LOL. I followed this tutorial, changing gold and purple shadow to light blue and blue.
Too bad I didn't have time to practice my false lashes...but I have my glasses anyways so not really a loss. But I'm happy that I'm getting good at putting on foundation, eyeshadow, and stuff. I think what I'm most happy about is my liner. I finally found a liner that last fffooorreevveerr, won't smudge, and is easy to apply. Cream/gel liners FTW!

I never thought I would be interested in buying stuff online but it appears the Wholesale fever caught up with me. I think it's after finding about Ciel Shop, I realized that there's probably more similar stores that do local facetrades for asian things. Sure thing, I googled and found a lot more on facebook. My obsession would probably stop there if I had been satisfied with browsing through the products and possibly place an order but nuuuueee my mind just had to lead me thinking: what if I opened a shop like that too? It seemed like a pretty safe investment since everything is pre-ordered and you only order what the customers want so there's no problem in unable to sell an item. Then I wondered how people made money which is why wholesale popped up in my mind. So I spent a loonnngg time searching for wholesale suppliers and reading about shipping policies and browsing through the products. The biggest concern I have is not the shipping but the taxes through custom and all that stuff. And the stuff the facebook shops sell are as cheap as wholesale sometimes. I really want to know how they make money or who their suppliers are. So in the end, I still didn't find an answer to my questions. Probably a big waste of time LOL but I sure did find a lot of online stores that seem decent. Maybe I should buy somethings first and figure out how the whole exchange work and then maybe as I'm getting used to dealings like this I'll start my own. Maybe I'll find a Sauders business student to do this with me...haha. But I'm definitely going to look into that this summer...and buy some things too...like that necklace in the photo! Too bad the store is USA based :(

This is probably one of the coolest product I have ever tried! All I did was apply cream, wait and watch the hair shrivel, wipe, and be amazed. After 5 min, the hair is gone! Like magic! OMG cool. hahaha No more risking of cutting or razor burn! hehe :)

Last year of this time, I was probably blogging about how I wanted the Paul Frank Hesh Headphone by Skullcandy. Then probably spazzed about how skullcandy website didn't get my order, etc. etc. Wells time to blog about it for the very last time: I sold my headphone. I used it a total of 3-4 times and I really didn't like it. It's sooooo tight on my head my jaws and ears hurt. And the top band just looks awful because it doesn't fit with the head shape. The sound quality is just like listening with earbuds and it's a bit pretty cheap looking too. So long headphones, I will never buy from skullcandy again! If I ever buy headphones again, I'll by Beats by Dr.Dre.

I painted my nails today! This is probably the second time since summer I painted them bright pink. So I used Sally Hansen's nail art pen again for the pink...it's actually not that easy to use. The polish is not evenly spread out so it's hard to manage. It's also very wasteful...or maybe just because of more poor skills. T__T I tried the Sally Hansen Lasting Lily (it was a complimentary gift with my nail polish remover) and applied two coats of polish for the first time! I like it :)...though the right hand was very messy (done by my left) so I had to remove it and change it to pink ;( Must practice using left hand! >__<

I was always fascinated at the humongous eyes of some asian girls, like the ones above. Are they born that way? Did they all get eye surgery? Whoas, I want eyes like those...
Well, over the summer, I learned that most of the photos are photoshopped. I even tried one myself, though my glasses are in the way and made the entire process difficult.
I look like a hyperactive hamster. hahahahaha
However, photoshop may create an unreal look. So how do the others do it? Just recently, I found out that there are actually contact lenses that can make your eyes look BIG. whoas @_@ ...and...change colors too.
One brand is called "Cooleye" from South Korea. Basically, I think it just dilates your pupil so it looks big. I have no idea how well it'll work on people with small eyes. It'll be interesting to see. hahaha. Well I certainly wouldn't suggest wearing these after driving home from partying. What if the police thought you are drunk and driving. hahaha
You can buy them here.
I actually kind of want to try it. Just for fun. =D
Imagine me with blue eyes. hahahahaha
