I'm cleaning my room and found this list. I don't want all my efforts to be wasted but I really don't want to keep that piece of paper anymore. So here it is! =D

Once again, be prepared for some mass blogging of the weirdest things on my blogs. Here are various quotations I liked and picked from various mangas I had read.

It’s been a while since I blogged about NANA but that doesn't mean I didn't read any. I just finished reading NANA 15. The process is really slowly now since I’m all caught up with the English publishing. Perhaps I should start reading online now? blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

Did you know that NANA can no longer be found under the manga selection under teens section in EPL? It’s considered adult graphic novel blur

The gender issue of Tsugumi Ohba, the author "Death Note" surprised me today. Since I wasn't sure whether Ohba is female or male I decided to search it up on the internet. To my much surprise little information can be found. On wikipedia it said "the person's real identity (and gender) is a closely guarded secret" O_O That's creepy. I didn't think Ohba is sooo secretive, especially after reading Death Note 13. S/He is a very mysterious person. Now I'm very curious XD.

I like to think of Ohba as a female author. Even though I don't understand Japanese, the sound of the name is very feminine, but at the same time, it could be a pen name. However, through the way the author talked, such as in one interview: "I like to go to the pet shop and look at the adorable pets", I think Ohba is a female ^.~

Check it out: Forum on Tsugumi Ohba's gender:

It’s funny how I always encounter things that I never expect to encounter. Once again, I dug up more treasures: Death Note 13. Yes, that’s right, the thirteenth volume of the manga, Death Note. Haha it is actually the “Ultimate Death Note Encyclopedia”. I must say it was very stressful to read, kind of similar to the manga but I still love it. It is stressful because so much context and information are introduced on a single page. Therefore, it took me hours to read it but it was worth it. I gained new knowledge about the characters, the story, and the creators themselves.

OMG it is the seventh volume 7 and I am surprised that Yazawa didn’t go seven crazy…hmm maybe she listens to the singer Se7en? XD haha it’s possible.

*Sigh* they all look so fabulous with the clothes and accessories. So envious. T__T

“Sorry I used you, sad but true. […] To give Hachiko free run of my kingdom.” I didn’t understand it very well. Does she mean she doesn’t want Hachi to leave her life? Hmmm…

I wonder if Hachi dyed her hair. Is her hair naturally black? What about Reira? I never knew was half Jap. I wonder if the band members know…probably. Poor Reira, I wonder how she feels. It makes her character more mysterious when she sought Shin. SHIN??!! O_O Is she desperate? Or is she moping about Yasu? Why is she doing this??!! She can’t possibly like Shin…or can she?

Just wondering, is “Sevens” really a card game or did Yazawa made it up just because she likes the number seven ??? Why does she like seven so much? I bet there is the mention of seven in every volume ^^

Whoa Reira and baldy Yasu??!! That’s a weird combination. O_O Yasu as a boyfriend is kind of hard to imagine. He gives off a fatherly/brotherly vibe. Hehehe But I like him. He’s a very cool headed lawyer ^.~ and rockin’ on the drums.

No big surprises for me in the storyline since I had already watched the live action. However, I think the movie didn’t portray the emotions as well as the book…hmm must watch the live action again >.< Up till now, I really didn’t like Hachi. I think she is a selfish, shallow, spoiled brat. She is also a crybaby and I didn’t think she had any intelligence, just simply a pretty face. But there are some quotes that captured my attention:

“I wasn’t capable of forgiving betrayal. I had too much pride to fight for someone who hurt me.”

I want a house like the Nanas! It is such a nice place. Their furniture is absolutely adorable!! Not to mention useful! It is so spacious too. *sigh* too bad it’s only in books.

It’s interesting to that the author sometimes reminds the reader that this is just a manga. The characters sometimes refers themselves as manga characters and the author did this and that ^^ it’s cool. I also like how Yazawa got the characters to talk about characters from other series, such as George, Arashi from Paradise Kiss. It makes me feel much more connected and that all the characters are a big family. Cute~
I was so thrilled to be finally able to read the manga, “Nana”. I had watched the live action earlier this year. At first everything seemed a little hazy and out of place in the movie. I was confused in their dialogue and had thought their acting was really bad. However, as a read the manga, I realized how closely the movie followed the actual storyline. Reading the manga is like re-watching the live action again.
