Cinemagraphs

While tumblr, I encountered these amazing cinemagraphs. They are created by Jamie Beck, a New York City-based fashion photographer, and Kevin Burg, a web designer with a background in video and motion graphics. (more articles on them here and here). These leave me speechless in awe. I only have one word for them: RESPECT.

2010-11-06 Toy Camera & Fx Camera

Ever since visiting Urban Outfitters in WEM, I wanted to get a toy camera: a Holga or Diana. Especially after seeing the effects those cameras can do! So I really wanted the Holga Deluxe Kit priced almost $200 for my birthday. But but but...that'll never happen. Apparently film camera = NOT WORTH IT! Although the effects are great, it's very expensive. Quality of each photo can't be guaranteed, you have to develop the film in order to see the photos, film and developing costs lots. *sigh* I guess I shouldn't get it then...

But to lighten up the sad news, I found this cool Android app called Fx Camera. It has many effects so when you take a photo, you change it to the effects a Polaroid or a Toy Camera or Fisheye, just like a Toy Camera expect without film! XD XD I think that's totally awesome ^^

2010-05-16 Camwhore!

Decided to take some pictures and divert my attention away from schoolwork. Too much hmwk~ going crazy @_@ ...need something to keep me on the sane side. hahaha.

I'm hiding out in the basement from the hot hot weather and don't have my cam so decided to play with webcam instead ^.~ and of course, photo-editing. Wanted to try one of those emo mood pictures. It turned out pretty well~ I really like the first pic =D...but so not me. hehehe

The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince

The coolest cafe I've ever visited had to be the "1st Shop of Coffee Prince". Yes, it's the shop from the drama "Coffee Prince"!!!! Everything looks like the one in the drama! The exterior, the interior, the walls, the window, the signs~ Additionally, the entire filming crew and cast signed on the walls and everything. It was really cool.
