2011-04-26 The Not So Good Good Buddy

So today I had to eat dinner at Good Buddy, a restaurant I unwillingly wanted to go. The last time I've been there, they didn't clean out the jumbo shrimps so there were black intestines hanging out when I was eating. Awful experience so I don't understand why dad chose to eat at there again. As it's expected, the food tastes disgusting. First, the bubble tea. The tapioca were rock solid and made of complete fresh fruit my face! On the menu, it said, fresh fruit bubble tea so I asked the waitress (stupid asian liar) if it's all fresh fruit and she assured me it's 100% fresh fruit! Naive and trusting, I ordered watermelon. Now we all know how gross artificial watermelon flavoured bubble tea taste....suuupppeerrr sweet. And that's exactly what I got. What happened was around 1/3 of the bubble tea is made with real watermelon, and the other 2/3 is just artificial crap + really hard tapioca. If that's the flavour of their fresh watermelon, better get out of that restaurant now.

Next on the dish was a beef dish. But I only ate a total of, let's see, half a piece because IT WAS SOOOO HARD TO CHEW! I feel like the cow itself, chewing forever and never eating! @______@ We also ordered this beef and potato dish, it tasted okay...at first. However, when I tasted the meat, it has this distinct smell to it...like a raw meat store smell or something close to it. I fear my health for eating that soooooo I'll pass on that dish. Aside from the beef, the vegetable we ordered was flavourless. The only okay dish to eat was probably the chicken. You can never go wrong with a chicken dish. I can't really comment on the rice since I didn't eat any. But overall, awful awful awful. What's even worse is that my clothes, hair, and everything I had with me in the restaurant smells like Good Buddy. YUCK! I never want to rest my foot into that place ever again in my life.
