Just the other day, I picked up a book called "Myspace: Our Planet". I was like 'whoa' this person started from a myspace account. Well there are some pretty interesting ideas in there such as use newspaper to wrap presents or send e-cards and not actual greetings or pay bills online. Yes, I agree that these are great ideas...for preserving paper and money. However, there are reasons why people don't use those ideas. Some lowers the quality of life and status...newspaper to wrap new gifts?..are you poor or something? It lowers sincerity and thoughtfulness...e-greetings are convenient but it limits what you can write in there. Besides a hand written card is much more thoughtful and personal. It lasts forever...if you stores them well. Those ideas may not be practical but it presented the message loud and clear. We should always do the little things such as use less cars and reduce the amount of garbage we produce.
"We should save our Earth. It's the only planet with chocolate."
