Today, our substitute teacher showed this video featuring Jill Bolte Taylor, a neuroanatomist. In the video, she describe her personal experience of having a stroke: her inability to move, to see, to comprehend. It's one thing to know what stroke is but it's another to actually hear what the stroke patient's thoughts, and their feeling during the stroke. It took her eight years to completely heal from the stroke. Her story is definitely one of a kind.
